On March 29-30, 2019, a two-day meeting of the KMG Youth Affairs Council was held in Nur-Sultan, which was attended by about 80 representatives of the Youth Councils of subsidiaries and affiliates of the group of companies of NC KazMunayGas JSC. From NMSC “Kazmortransflot”, members of the Youth Council Yerkanat Gabdullin and Olesya Krasnovа took part in the forum.
A rich program was presented to the participants. For young professionals, they have developed developmental trainings aimed at teambuilding, time management, and the discovery of their abilities. Particularly interesting were the transformational games, which allowed in an unusual form to look at the work of the entire system.
“Delegates of the Assembly should be divided into groups, and each should develop a draft of changes in the youth policy of companies, and then present them and be able to protect them,” Yerkanat Gabdullin, representative of the Council on Youth Affairs of the National Medical Insurance Company Kazmortransflot, shared his impressions.
The purpose of these trainings is to teach young employees to generate ideas and then skillfully present them to the audience, identifying the strengths of their projects, and prove their effectiveness. Ideas are aimed specifically at the development and modernization of the company’s youth policy and may concern social, professional, innovative areas, the introduction of automation and digitalization elements.
Then, based on the results of the presentations, five best employees were selected, who formed the newly created Committee of the Council on Youth Affairs. The committee during the year will be engaged in the implementation of a renewed youth policy, addressing issues of young personnel, and developing and implementing new projects. By the way, previously the managing director was the chairman of the council, now the five most creative, ambitious and advanced young employees will be at the head of the council.
In addition, a significant event at the forum was the session on the theme “The Future of NC“ KMG ”in 10 years”. It was interesting to all the guys to find out what large-scale changes are waiting for the national company. The second day of the forum was marked by the facilitation session of the KMG Youth Movement.
