From 25 June to 6 July a number of events were held in honor of the International Day of Seafarers. The final event was a gala concert in honor of the Day of Sea and River Fleet Workers.

As part of the event, employees of Kazmortransflot were honored with awards from the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The medal “For Achievements in the Maritime Industry”, was warded to R.Kiinov, leading specialist in commercial fleet operations. Honorary diplomas of the Ministry of Transport were awarded to A. Ischanov, senior specialist of the Corporate Affairs Department, A.Otuzov, captain-mentor of the Maritime Safety service, A.Penzyatkin, senior mechanic of the vessel “Sunkar” and E.Abduragimov, senior mechanic of the vessel “Barys”.
