Happy Marine and River Transport Workers' Day!

Today, for the first time in Kazakhstan, a new professional holiday is celebrated – the Day of Maritime and River Transport Workers.

The main participant in the maritime transport sector in the structure of the KazMunayGas Group of companies is NMSK Kazmortransflot LLP. For more than 25 years, KMTF has been transporting Kazakh oil along routes in the Caspian, Black and Mediterranean Seas.

Since its foundation, Kazmortransflot has transported about 110 million tons of oil in the open seas. Since 2019, since the launch of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, more than 140 thousand containers in twenty-foot equivalent and more than 830 thousand tons of dry cargo have been transported.

Today, KMTF operates a modern fleet consisting of 15 vessels.

Currently, projects for the construction of new container ships are being implemented jointly with AD Ports Group, and it is also planned to replenish the tanker pool with new Aframax-type vessels.

In addition, in 2025, the KMTF, together with the KBTU Maritime Academy, launched an educational program for future boatmasters and ship mechanics with full tuition, scholarships and accommodation.
