The Head of State got acquainted with the development of the transport and logistics infrastructure in Mangystau.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited Aktau International Seaport, a key logistics hub of the country, which plays an important role in developing Kazakhstan's transit potential.

Today, the port is a modern multi–purpose terminal that provides round–the-clock transshipment of goods throughout the year in the East-West and North-South directions. Its location at the intersection of international transport corridors gives it strategic importance in strengthening national and regional logistics.

The President was informed about the prospects for the development of the transport and logistics infrastructure of the Mangystau region, including plans to modernize port facilities and expand the country's transit potential.
