On June 4 of the current year, fire safety drills were conducted at the Administrative Building of LLP “National Maritime Shipping Company Kazmortransflot” with the involvement of specialists from the Firefighting Service.

The event was organized to assess the readiness of the facility’s fire protection systems and to practice the actions of employees and visitors in the event of an emergency.

As part of the drills, the operability of the following systems was tested: the fire alarm system, the air pressurization system, the automatic unlocking of evacuation doors, as well as the procedures for lowering elevators to the ground floor and opening turnstiles. Special attention was paid to the timeliness of the response by maintenance personnel and the correct execution of instructions when the fire protection system was activated.

Representatives of the Firefighting Service successfully extinguished a simulated fire on the 11th floor of the Administrative Building. Upon completion of the drills, the identified shortcomings were discussed and recommendations for their elimination were provided. Overall, the exercises demonstrated a high level of employee preparedness for emergency situations and confirmed the effectiveness of the existing safety systems.
